Whirlpool bath testing

Hygiene begins when you try out a whirlpool bath

Many providers of whirlpool baths may give you the opportunity to try one out but they do not meet the statutory requirements in doing so. Extensive and costly legal requirements are imposed on providers in connection with commercial uses, including trying out pools and testing whirlpool baths.

That's why you should start by thoroughly checking the official operator's log book that is kept separately for every whirlpool bath and in which the water test results must be entered at least three times a day, along with the latest laboratory results concerning water quality. You can obtain information about this from any health authority. There are good reasons why strict requirements are imposed under the German Protection Against Infection Act. You cannot know if anyone has contaminated the water before you, how long the water has been in use or which bacteria, infectious diseases and chemicals have polluted the water.

In the commercial sector, strong chlorination and the addition of oxides and other disinfectants to treat the water is prescribed when whirlpool baths are being tested. However, this can lead to skin irritations despite careful use and compliance with all of the regulations. These legal requirements are in place to protect your health and hygiene. We and the health authorities therefore warn against testing out a pool or whirlpool bath if you know that it is not being used properly and in compliance with these requirements  The only alternative – which is labour-intensive and costly – is one-off use with perfectly fresh water. If you then try out a whirlpool bath at an exhibition or trade fair, you need not worry about illnesses caused by bacteria, for example, or skin irritations.

Our customer service for you:

we will set up the whirlpool bath you are interested in trying out just for you. This means that the whirlpool bath is connected up electrically, filled with fresh drinking water, the water is heated up to 39 degrees Celsius, the water and the equipment is tested, personal assistance during testing of the whirlpool bath is organised all exclusively for you – and at the end, the water is let out again and the whirlpool bath is disinfected thoroughly before final cleaning takes place.

Your health is important to us, so with us fresh drinking water (always free from chemicals) is used to try out the pool only once by you.
